Former Traill County Water District Manager Accused of Theft

A former water district manager in Hillsboro is charged with stealing more than $100,000 from his employer.

Former Traill County Rural Water District manager Jerome Olson is facing two felony counts of misapplication of entrusted property.

He is accused of misappropriating funds over a period of time by manipulating expenditures.

His attorney said there was no misappropriation of funds and that his client “acted in his due diligence.”
