Two Teens Die in Head-On Crash in Hubbard County

Two northern Minnesota teens are dead after a head-on crash on an icy road in Hubbard County.

Jacob Bruns, 16, of Laporte and 16 year old Kiara Renollette of Bemidji were both killed in the accident.

A patrol spokesperson says Bruns lost control on Highway 71 around 6:30 last night, veered into the northbound lane and hit an oncoming truck.

The driver of the truck was seriously hurt and taken to a hospital.
