Volunteers Search Trollwood Park for Savanna Greywind
The baby is at Sanford Hospital under protective custody from Cass County
FARGO, ND — The search for Savannah Greywind is now at Trollwood Park.
The family is asking the community for help.
The family of Savanna Greywind has organized a community search at Trollwood Park.
More than 200 people have showed up to search and more people keep joining.
Groups separated into teams to search different areas of Trollwood Park in north Fargo.
Searchers received a tip, saying this park was a common hangout for the suspects tied to Savanna’s case.
Many of the volunteers are strangers to Savanna and her family.
Although they may not have known her, they say it is more important than ever to stick together as a community.
“It’s just very heartbreaking to know how afraid she was,” said volunteer Chandra Eaton. “I’m sure the last thing on her mind was her baby, so we just wanted to come and do whatever we could do to help this family.”
Many of her family members showed up to help with the search.
Searchers brought food, water and supplies in efforts to help with the search.
Organizers say they are planning to continue searches and will not stop until Savanna is found.
The next search will take place tomorrow.
We will update you with the location as the information comes in.
