United Blood Services Gives a Harley to One Lucky Donor

The winner told us getting a motorcycles was not why he gave blood

FARGO, ND — A lucky blood donor rode home on a new motorcycle in Fargo this morning.

John Lindestrom was the winner of United Blood Services’ Harley Davidson giveaway.

Anyone who gave blood between June 1st and September 9th was entered in to win the bike.

The donation center narrowed down the drawing to five donors.

Lindestrom said winning the bike was not his main priority when donating blood.

“I knew the contest was going on and I didn’t really think about it, I just do it on a regular basis,” Lindestrom said. “Like every month or two as my schedule permits but this is just kind of an added bonus.”
