Police Searching for Moorhead Man After Chase

Moorhead Police have impounded a pickup involved in a high speed chase, but they’re still looking for the driver.

53-year-old John Hamre of Moorhead is wanted for fleeing, reckless endangerment and illegal U-turn.

Police say Hamre fled when an officer tried to stop him last night.

Fargo and Moorhead Police and Clay County deputies spent about two hours searching for him.

His pickup was found at the boat landing off 52nd Avenue South.

Hamre is a suspect in thefts from storage units.
