Christmas Tree Curbside Pickup in Fargo and Grand Forks
Now that Christmas has come and gone it’s time to get rid of that quickly withering tree.
There are a few tree disposal rules to follow if you live in Fargo.
Christmas trees will be picked up on your regular garbage day this week.
You are asked to remove plastic bags, lights, wood and metal stands and place your tree 5 feet from your garbage bin.
Solid Waste crews ask that you do not stick them in a snowbank but do place them on the boulevard and not in the alley.
Crews in Grand Forks will begin picking up Christmas trees tomorrow and through Friday January 15th.
You can also drop them off at the Public Works Facility, the Pump Station and by Williamson Field.
The trees will be recycled and used as covering at the landfill.
