Home Health Care Worker Arrested For Defrauding Victim of $8,000

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo woman is arrested and accused of defrauding a vulnerable adult out of over $8,000.

Police say 22-year-old Racelia Gbla is a home health care provider and was helping the victim with medical needs.

She is accused of using their personal information to make fraudulent online purchases.

Investigators interviewed a resident at the address where the items were shipped and seized several packages.

When Gbla was arrested Tuesday, she had one of the victim’s checks.

She is facing charges of exploiting a vulnerable adult, unauthorized use of personal information, theft, and illegal use of a credit card.
