Burgum Meets Donor Threshold for Next Debate, Still Short of Polling Requirement

Burgum

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)  — Gov. Doug Burgum’s presidential campaign says he has surpassed the donor threshold for the third GOP debate.

Burgum has contributions from more than 70,000 donors including 200 from 20 different states.

He becomes the fifth candidate to meet the RNC’s debate requirement for donors.

Burgum still needs to get at least 4% in two national polls.

The only candidates to qualify so far are former President Donald Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley.

Trump says he plans to skip the next debate as he did with the first two.

It will be held November 8 in Miami.
