‘Bras on Big 98.7’ campaign results in $40,000 for Essentia Health breast cancer patients

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Essentia Health is reporting that a recent campaign brought in $40,000 for breast cancer patients. The annual ‘Bras on Big 98.7’ event raises awareness and funds for breast cancer and supports those patients at the Essentia Health Fargo Cancer Center with things like gas cards, lodging vouchers, gift cards for grocery stores and assistance with wig costs.

“Every year, we continue to be blown away by the support of this community,” said Susan Omdalen, executive director of the Essentia Health Foundation-West. “These dollars help make a difference as they go directly to support patients in our Cancer Center. Thank you for your generosity; we are extremely grateful.”
