Malichita Brand Cantaloupe Recall at Hornbacher’s

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A rare recall is issued by Hornbacher’s over some of its cantaloupe.

An email was sent out to customers this weekend about Malichita brand cantaloupe sold whole or processed in-store into cut cantaloupe.

The supplier says the shipments are being recalled due to concerns about Salmonella.

They have not yet received any reports of illness.

The cantaloupe was sold at six out of seven Hornbacher’s locations, it was not sold at the Northport location.

If you bought some, throw it away or return it to the store for a full refund.
