LIVE: One More Hot Pants Celebration For ‘Men Wear Pink’

KVRR morning anchor Adam Ladwig has one more bit of fun up his sleeve after his successful 'Men Wear Pink' campaign

I spent all of October raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink Campaign.

We ended up raising $4,782 for cancer programs right here in our region thanks to your generosity. I heard so many stories from breast cancer survivors, and people with loved ones who faced the disease. It was a humbling experience. We celebrated a fundraising milestones with a bunch of fun pink-themed stunts directed at me. I had water balloons thrown at me, cupcakes shoved in my face, pink lemonade poured on me, puppies lick frosting off my face, my hair dyed pink and pink Halloween face paint. But we still had one celebration left to do, for reaching $4,000 a milestone we reached on the last day of October. I told you I’d wear pink hot pants on air. Well it took a while for Emily to order them and to find the time to fit them in the show, but here for your viewing pleasure, the result of your donations to the American Cancer Society.
