Small Ammonia Leak Reported at Simplot in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Grand Forks Fire crews respond to a small ammonia leak at Simplot in Grand Forks.

They say it was reported around 10:20 this morning.

Employees had found a small amount of ammonia leaking around a valve, and contained it before crews arrived.

The fire department ventilated the area and monitored the air quality inside the building.

There were no injuries and employees were able to safely return to work.
