Chief Meteorologist Max Mueller got lyrical when talking about Darryl Hall getting a restraining order against John Oates. Thanks to viewer Louise Snortland-Hall in Pembina for letting us know about the clip.

Kimmel played a very long montage Monday night of local news folks throwing Hall & Oates song lyrics into stories about the pair’s legal battle. It’s a staple of local news, thinking you’re smart while using the same pun that a hundred other people are saying all over the country. And every time we think we’re being clever.

But it’s cool that Kimmel used Max on the show. Hopefully this doesn’t mean Max goes national and leaves us. Because “I can’t go for that.”
