2023 Holiday Lights Parade draws huge crowds

FARGO-MOORHEAD (KVRR) – There’s nothing like it, the holiday lights parade in downtown Fargo and Moorhead. The region’s official start to the holiday celebrations.

You have it all here, the lights, the music, the crowds and the excitement. This is an event that means a lot to the region.

“Yeah, the holidays are really about making those core memories and I know this is one that me growing up and me with my kids now. Get to take a kid now to a parade, see the lights in their eyes when Santa goes by. It’s just a special moment for everybody.” said Rocky Schneider, the executive director for the downtown community partnership.

According to Schneider, there were over 75 floats and vehicles in this year’s parade.
