Downtown Fargo Public ice rink opens up with big party
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Scheels Skating Rink at Broadway Square is open for the season and there’s a party to celebrate.
The rink located in the heart of downtown, opened this past Friday, despite our warmer than average weather. People are welcomed to come out for live music and hot chocolate from Black Coffee and Waffle Bar.
The party is free to attend for all ages and skate rentals are only 5 dollars, and it’s all going on until 8 p.m.
Katelin Madsen, Fargo Parks District event supervisor, said, “Yeah No matter what we have things to do so we will have glow sticks and a live DJ so there are plenty of things to do no matter what”.
The rink is open for regular public skating Monday through Friday between 4:00 and 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 and 9:00 pm
