Grinch Hits Woodlawn Park; Steals Tree

A real life holiday Grinch strikes again.

The top of an evergreen is missing from a tree in Woodlawn Park in Moorhead.

Mayor Del Rae Williams posted this picture to her Facebook page.

The City Forester investigated and found that only one tree had been clipped.

He says it looks like someone used a handsaw to cut the top off the tree at about the six-foot mark.

Earlier this year during the 4th of July, the park’s Heritage Garden was also hit by vandals.
