New recovery center coming to Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The city of Fargo is getting a new recovery center to help those in need. The Hope in Recovery Center will be offering recovery education, peer-led groups, structured activities, community outings, free meals and a safe environment for those working on their mental health recovery.
It also doesn’t cost anything to be a part of the community.
“It’s just really a place where people can come and build a community,” said Kery Leno, the director of hope and recovery. “It’s member led and so to be a member, a person just has to be over the age of 18 and struggling with some kind of mental health issues. That qualifies a person to be a member of this recovery center.”
The center is hosting a grand opening on Sunday at the Lighthouse Church 21 9th St. S. from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
