Fargo woman charged with stealing over $80,000 from employer

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo woman has been charged with theft after being accused of stealing over eighty thousand dollars from her employer.

According to court documents, Kelly Tweiten transferred money into her personal banking account, and wrote fraudulent checks to herself from Dietrich Homes.

That’s where she worked as a financial manager.

The owner of the business noticed irregularities late last week.

Court records show that the owner believes the total amount stolen is between $80,000 and $100,000.

Her next court appearance is February 22.
