Mapleton Man Charged For Crashing Stolen Van

A Mapleton, North Dakota man is facing a pair of felony charges and five misdemeanors for crashing a stolen van late last month.
 
25-year-old Dillon Asleson allegedly stole the van from rural Cass County on November 22nd, and led police on a chase

One witness to the crash told police that the van was going between 80 and 90mph when it went through a red light.

The van slammed into an SUV, seriously injuring the driver.

Aselson ran, but was found hiding behind a sign near the intersection.
