2 Face Drug Charges After Injury Crash On I-94

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) – A driver faces DUI and drug charges after a rollover crash on I-94.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before midnight Wednesday, 10 miles east of Tower City.
A 23-year-old woman from Jamestown was driving when she lost control and ran her SUV off the road. The vehicle rolled and stopped in a field.

The road was wet with scattered ice on it.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
A 19-year-old passenger from Jamestown was wearing a seatbelt and stayed in the SUV.
Both were injured and taken to Sanford in Fargo.
The driver also faces charges of DUI, possession of fentanyl, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
The passenger faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
