Tom Campbell is Running for U.S. House in North Dakota

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/AP) — A potato farmer and former North Dakota state senator is running for the U.S. House seat held by Rep. Kelly Armstrong.
Tom Campbell of Grafton previously ran for the seat in 2018 after switching from the state’s U.S. Senate race.
But he withdrew before the crowded GOP primary election that year.
Armstrong is running for governor after Gov. Doug Burgum decided not to seek a third term.
In an interview, Campbell said he met with Armstrong to discuss the elections, saying the two of them running for governor would “get very expensive, very ugly”.
Republican former state representative Rick Becker and Democrat Trygve Hammer are also running for the House seat.
