Frostival continues with outdoor kickball tournament

MOORHEAD, Minn., (KVRR)- The Frostival continues and takes advantage of the nice weather. A kickball tournament was hosted at MB Johnson Park in Moorhead.

The tournament took all players from the Fargo kickball league and scramble them into 2 teams playing a best of 3 series.

This tournament was held last year as well and it’s held to show people there’s still fun things to do outside in February. Kevin Strey, Stonewall Sports Fargo Commissioner, said, “You know being in Fargo, we’re so used to being cooped up indoors so it’s really nice to get outside and enjoy the elements.”

Strey also said, “There’s so many things you can do outdoors and this event is really a highlight of showing that there is things to do in February, you can get outside your house.”
