FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – This Giving Hearts Day, you have the chance to get an up close look at one of the non-profits doing great things in our community.

Gigi’s Playhouse is hosting its “Lattes for Love” event during Thursday’s Giving Hearts Day.
They will be giving out free lattes and tours of their facilities from 11:30-12:30.
Gigi’s Playhouse funds free programs for people with Down Syndrome.
They’re hoping to raise $90,000 on Giving Hearts Day, which would help people enjoy a combined 7,000 hours of programming to help them achieve more.

Gigi’s Playhouse Executive Director Heather Lorenzen says, “I really see abilities and I think that’s something that I’m super passionate about that I get to bring out through out programs. And I get to see in our volunteers, who get to bring out that, best of all, in our participants and our families as well.”
