Hepatitis A vaccine clinic held at UND after potential exposure at Chick-fil-A on campus

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A Hepatitis A vaccine clinic was held at UND Memorial Union this afternoon for people potentially exposed by a worker at Chick-fil-a on campus.

Hepatitis A is a contagious liver infection.

North Dakota Health and Human Services says the worker was possibly exposed following out-of-state travel.

No additional cases have been identified.

People who ate at the restaurant between January 15 and February 7 may be at risk of infection.

Those who are unvaccinated and were potentially exposed are advised to seek vaccination within 14 days of exposure.

January 15, 2024: 5 pm – 9 pm
January 16, 2024: 11 am – 2:15 pm
January 17, 2024: 5 pm – 9:45 pm
January 22, 2024: 5 pm – 9:30 pm
January 23, 2024: 11 am – 2 pm
January 24, 2024: 5 pm – 9:30 pm
January 26, 2024: 5 pm – 9:30 pm
February 4, 2024: 5 pm – 8 pm
February 6, 2024: 11 am – 2 pm
February 7, 2024: 5 pm – 8:45 pm

Walk-in vaccine clinics will be conducted this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 20-21, from 10 am to 4 pm at GFPH located at 151 S. 4th St., Suite N301, Grand Forks.
