EDC Basketball Tournament Roundup | Day One

All Top Seeds Advance in Tuesday Night's Quarterfinals of the EDC Boys and Girls Basketball Tournaments

FARGO, N.D. — Due to the weather conditions, Grand Forks Central and Fargo South have been pushed back to Wednesday at 5 PM. Apart from that, all the EDC quarterfinal games were played Tuesday night. On the guys side, Davies gets the 93-77 win over West Fargo Horace Sheyenne knocks off Shanley, 76-62. That will set them up with a date with Fargo North who defeated West Fargo 88-80.

In the girls tournament, the defending state champs with a statement win at the top of the bracket, beating Grand Forks Central 85-24. The Sheyenne Mustangs beat Fargo North 83-55. Davies defeats West Fargo 89-40 and Horace handles their business against Shanley; Hawks win it 92-55. Sheyenne will play the winner of the Grand Forks Red River, and Davies will play Horace in the other semifinal.
