Reckless Firearm Discharge Leads to Arrest in Otter Tail County
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office says the Otter Tail County SWAT team was utilized to help arrest the suspect.

BATTLE LAKE, MN (KVRR) – A Battle Lake man is in custody at the Otter Tail County Jail after law enforcement says he recklessly discharged a firearm in a Battle Lake trailer park.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says that they responded to a call coming from that trailer park just after 4:30 P.M. on April 17. Upon investigation, they determined that 67-year-old Clinton Hunnicut Jr. did indeed discharge a weapon recklessly. He was taken into custody with assistance from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
Hunnicut faces four charges, including reckless discharge of a firearm and assault of a public safety dog.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is no ongoing danger to the public.
