Polk County Person of Interest Arrested in Rural Goodridge, MN

POLK CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Numerous tips about this person of interest poured in to Polk County Sheriff’s Office, resulting in an arrest.

64-year-old Dennis Hovet of Goodridge was taken into custody on Friday for charges related to burglary and theft.

Polk County released these images on Thursday of Hovet at a service station.

They worked with sheriff’s offices in Red Lake, Marshall, Pennington and Clearwater counties and the Pine to Prairie Task Force to track him down.

Authorities executed a search warrant in rural Goodridge on Friday to arrest Hovet and recovered multiple stolen firearms.

They say the case remains under investigation as not all of the stolen weapons were recovered.
