West Acres Mall Macy’s Location To Remain Open

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Macy’s plan to close 150 unproductive stores does not include the West Acres Mall location.

West Acres COO Alissa Adams said Friday that Macy’s West Acres is part of the brand’s long-term strategy and will remain open.

Macy’s made the announcement earlier this week to close dozens of locations across the country, but they did not release a list of the store’s targeted for closure.

Company leaders said the closings will take place over the next three years with 50 stores closing by the end of 2024.
