Devils Lake Man Arrested After High Speed Chase in Grand Forks County

GRAND FORKS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Devils Lake man is arrested after a high speed chase Sunday night in Grand Forks County.

The sheriff says at one point, 30-year-old Benjamin Pawlowski drove through an interstate fence and went airborne, coming to rest partially on the shoulder of I-29.

He then fled on foot towards Grand Forks but was eventually caught.

Pawlowski faces numerous fleeing and drug charges and is also wanted on outstanding warrants in both Cass and Clay counties.

Deputies says speeds during the chase ranged from 70 to 100 miles per hour.
