Fire damages home in Dilworth

DILWORTH, Minn. (KVRR) – Fire heavily damaged a home in Dilworth Wednesday afternoon.

Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says it appeared the fire began in an upstairs bedroom at 15 Adams Avenue.

Empting says firefighters from Moorhead were able to quickly get the fire under control. Everyone inside safely escaped.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office will investigate the cause.
