Powerball And Mega Millions Jackpots Both Near $1 Billion

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/AP) — Another drawing last night without a jackpot winner.

Powerball keeps climbing and is now at $750 million for the next drawing on Saturday night.

Not only did no one win the jackpot, there were also zero Match 5 one million dollar winners.

As far as that other big lottery game, Mega Millions, it is now nearly one billion dollars for the drawing on Friday night.

The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an estimated $977 million thanks to more than three months without a winner of the top prize.

That reflects the incredibly long odds of winning the jackpot.
