The Red River Valley SWAT Assist Fargo Police with arrest

FARGO (KVRR) – Just before 7 PM of Friday, Fargo Police wer called to a local healthcare facility to investigate a report of sexual assault.

The victim identified their assailant as 39-year-old Travis Holt who lived in their apartment complex in the 2600 block of 8th St. N.

Police attempted to speak with Holt early Saturday morning, but he refused to exit his apartment.

Due to his criminal history, Red River Valley SWAT team assisted in taking holt into custody.

During the arrest the team utilized several Flash Sound Diversionary Devices to distract Holt.

Holt continued to resist arrest, and the SWAT team deployed gas and less lethal ammunition in order to apprehend him.

Holt has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Felony Trespassing, Forced Gross Sexual Imposition, and Kidnapping.
