Fargo Man Faces Numerous Charges in Hit-And-Run Last Week in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo man is charged after a hit-and-run last Tuesday in Moorhead.

55-year-old Derek McClarren is charged with criminal vehicular operation, hit and run, open bottle and 4th degree DWI.

Police say McClarren hit a person in the 2400 block of 28th Avenue South who was trying to help a woman get her car out of a snowbank next to the road.

McClarren left the scene, but was stopped a short time later.

He remains in the Clay County Jail.
