Turnberg, Carlson Jump Into Fargo City Commission Race

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Voters will be deciding between seven candidates for Fargo City Commission during the election in June.

Two seats are up for grabs including those of Commissioners John Strand and Arlette Preston.

Both are running for another term.

Other candidates include Michelle Turnberg, a former Fargo television news anchor, Nathan Pullen, Delson Saintal, Al Carlson and Anna Johnson.

Carlson is a former North Dakota House Majority Leader who lost a race for the commission in 2022.

Michael Graalum, Jerry Rostad and Zoe Absey are running for two positions on the park board.
