NDSU set to host South Dakota State softball

FARGO (KVRR) – NDSU softball is back in town this week for an upcoming three-game series against one of the top teams in the Summit League in the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. The Bison are coming off a series loss to UNLV in Vegas, but now have a chance to bounce back.
The last time they suited up at home they had a three-game series sweep over St. Thomas, and now has a chance to climb the conference standings against SDSU. And while they sit at 16 and 25 on the season, it is still a young roster learning to win together.
“Our lineup has been changing up a lot this year and that’s something by plan. We want to give everybody an opportunity to get onto the field and get the experience. Because we know there’s kind of a bigger plan in place as well as trying to win this year. It’s been fun to watch that. With that you are going to have your struggles and stuff to so it’s a matter of being patient with that.” said Head Coach Darren Mueller.
Game 1 is set for Saturday at 12 pm at Tharaldson Park.
