Woman Recovering and Charged After Rolling Vehicle in Griggs County

GRIGGS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Langdon, North Dakota woman is recovering and facing charges after rolling her vehicle in Griggs County.

Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Sarah Mikkelsen drove through the intersection of Highways 61 and 1, losing control and rolling.

The crash happened around 12:10 a.m. Saturday about a half mile east of Binford, North Dakota.

Mikkelsen was taken to Cooperstown to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

She is charged with DUI and issued a citation for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation.
