Red Lake woman charged with murder of two children
DULUTH, Minn. (KVRR) — A Red Lake woman has been charged with murder, arson, and child neglect following the death of two young children on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
Court records say that on March 15, 35-year-old Jennifer Stately, attacked and killed two children.
She then set fire to the home and then took off in her vehicle with another child.
An AMBER Alert was issued and someone spotted Stately’s vehicle and contacted law enforcement.
Law enforcement says the child showed signs of neglect.
The judge ordered that she stays in custody until further proceedings.
