Arizona Flight Attendant’s Bismarck Trial Delayed

A trial delay for a flight attendant accused of fabricating a story that prompted an emergency landing in North Dakota.

Justin Cox-Sever, of Tempe, Arizona, had been scheduled for a three-day trial in federal court in Bismarck starting Tuesday.

The judge has granted a defense motion to delay it for two months.

Cox-Sever is accused of stuffing a bag with towels and reporting it as a suspicious package on a SkyWest Airlines flight from Minneapolis to Dickinson.

The airport was temporarily shut down after the plane landed.
