Only Minor Injuries After Small Piper Cub Plane Crashes Near Enderlin Airport

ENDERLIN, N.D. (KVRR) — Three people were able to walk away, one with just minor injuries, after this small plane crashed near Enderlin, North Dakota.
Highway Patrol says the pilot, 33-year-old Jessica Herman of Kulm, has minor injuries.
Two boys, 12 and 13, were not injured.
They say Herman had taken off in the 1951 Piper Cub from the Enderlin Airport for an exhibition flight around 10 a.m.
The plane suddenly experienced an engine malfunction.
Herman made an emergency landing in a field within a mile southwest of the airport.
The plane came to rest on its roof.
The crash is under investigation by the FAA.
