West Acres attending Las Vegas Convention in search of new retailers

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The West Acres Mall leadership team will be heading to Las Vegas to attend the International Council of Shopping Centers Convention over the weekend to look for new stores.

West Acres posted on Facebook looking for suggestions of what people would like to see. 

The most popular suggestions were for H&M, Trader Joe’s and an IKEA.

West Acres COO Alissa Adams says that this feedback helps the mall sell Fargo to potential retailers.

“It’s crucially important for us to make sure that the stores and restaurants and retailers that we bring into them all align with the needs and desires of our customers. We love to get that feedback from guests as to what they’re interested in and what they like to see come to West Acres.”

West Acres is preparing for the opening of a new department store, Von Maur, in 2025 and expects to announce another new retailer in the next few months
