Mega Millions Ticket Worth $40,000 Still Unclaimed in North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — Someone is holding on to a Mega Millions ticket that is worth $40,000 and time is running out!

The ticket will expire on June 9.

North Dakota Lottery officials say it was sold at Pinnacle Express in Stanley, North Dakota for the December 12, 2023 drawing.

The ticket won by matching four white balls and the Mega Ball.

The Megaplier multiplier was 4, which the player had also purchased, making the $10,000 prize jump to $40,000.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, after which
the prize is returned to the state.
