GRAND FORKS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — Three people are arrested in Grand Forks after a high speed chase early Thursday morning.

Sheriff Andy Schneider says a deputy tried to stop a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Kyle Maez-Schaak of New Rockford, ND. for crossing the center line in Grand Forks.

He fled and hit speeds of 100 miles per hour in town and eventually crashed into a parked vehicle.

Maez-Schaak fled but was found two hours later after a call about a suspicious male at a residence.

He was arrested for felony criminal mischief, driving under suspension, reckless endangerment, refusal to halt, fleeing a police officer while fleeing from a felony, and two outstanding felony warrants.

Two passengers were also arrested.

23-year-old Destinie Rivera of Pisek, N.D. was arrested on outstanding warrants.

33-year-old Deborah Fleetwood of Carrington was arrested upon suspicion of felony hindering law enforcement.

Schneider says Maez-Schaak is no stranger to law enforcement.

He has 30 arrests as an adult and this was his 8th time arrested for fleeing from police.

Maez-Schaak was one of three people arrested in Fargo last month after crashing a stolen pickup into a fence near I-94 in Fargo.

He was then also accused of fleeing a peace officer in a vehicle.
