Fordville Man Arrested and Charged After Rear-Ending Stopped Vehicle Near the Airport in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Fordville, North Dakota man faces charges after rear-ending a vehicle stopped at a red light near Grand Forks International Airport.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Travis Bell crashed into a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Nicole Louthain of Grand Forks Air Force Base at the intersection of Highway 2 and Airport Road around 6:40 p.m. Monday.

Louthain and a 6-year-old passenger have serious injuries.

Louthain was taken to Altru Hospital while the child was flown to a Fargo hospital.

Bell was arrested for criminal vehicular injury.

The crash remains under investigation.
