Semi Driver from Winnipeg Cited After Driving Off I-29 And Rolling Rig in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A semi driver is cited and his passenger is being treated for injuries after rolling the rig onto its side in the ditch along I-29 in Fargo.

Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 2 a.m. when 23-year-old Sukhveer Singh from Winnipeg mistook the shoulder
for the 13th Avenue South exit and drove off the roadway.

Kuldip Singh, a 55-year-old co-driver and passenger from Winnipeg was taken to Sanford with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver was not hurt but was cited for care required.

One lane of I-29 was closed while crews worked to get the rig back on the interstate.
