Williston Man Gets 50 Years for Production of Child Porn, Victims In Numerous States
BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — A fifty year prison sentence is handed down to 29-year-old Nicholas Nesdahl of Williston for seven counts of producing child porn.
Nesdahl was sentenced in federal court in Bismarck.
He plead guilty to the charges back in March.
He was given 30 years in federal prison in North Dakota along with 20 years in Pennsylvania.
Prosecutors say Nesdahl would groom minors on social media to produce images or videos of themselves nude or engaging in sexual activity.
The victims ranged in age from 6 to 15 years old.
In addition to North Dakota and Pennsylvania, he had victims in Minnesota, Maryland, Texas and New Jersey.
