Pizza Ranch Fan visits 175th location: Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – For Jason Halkias, the Pizza Ranch buffet is more than just all-you-can-eat pizza and chicken, it’s a calling.

Halkias is on a mission to visit every one of the restaurant’s locations, a quest that has taken him around the country, from Colorado to Illinois.

Sometimes he just gets a drink. Other times he gets his “go to” loaded buffalo chicken pizza, but he’s not too picky when it comes to the selections.

He arrived in Fargo on Monday to visit the Pizza Ranch in town, his 175th Pizza Ranch on his journey that has been years in the making.

“I started a relationship with a woman in Cedar Rapids who happened to be a big Pizza Ranch fanatic in her own right. And so, then I realized there were locations in other cities that we had our friends in and I thought, well, if we visit them, then we’d have good reasons to visit them so by the end of this relationship I’d visited 14 locations.” Halkias said.

He has also visited Wadena, Perham, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lake and Dilworth in our area.

Halkias says that if everything goes to plan, he should complete his tour of every 216 Pizza Ranch location around October of this year.
