Crowd favorite Blue Angels return to Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Airsho is this weekend and you might have heard or seen that the Blue Angels are already in town and doing some practice runs.
They will headline the airshow on Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. each day.
You will see the Blue Angels flying six, Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornets.
You’ll also see “Fat Albert” and other planes do formations, and solo flying as well.
This year, the Blue Angels have their first female jet demonstration pilot, Lieutenant Commander Amanda Lee joining them in the sky as well.
Commander Alex Armatas says, “Its extremely exciting to be here. We get to travel to 32 show sites every single year; this is one of those show sites. It’s extremely exciting to be allowed to travel around the country and meet all these great folks. Meet people in every corner of the country and showcase the teamwork and the professionalism of the United States Navy Marine Corps.”
They will also be practicing over the FM metro again on Friday.
Fargo Airshow is Saturday and Sunday at Hector International Airport.
