Michael Diedrich Pleads Not Guilty In Deadly Stabbing Outside Fargo Bar

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The man charged with murder for a deadly stabbing outside a Fargo bar earlier this year has entered a not guilty plea.
Michael Diedrich is accused of stabbing and killing 22-year-old Ethan Larson of Newfolden, Minnesota during a fight outside SouthTown PourHouse on March 28.
Investigators say a bartender reported that the men agreed to go outside to fight.
The bartender followed them to break it up and saw Larson bent over and possibly throwing up blood.
Other witnesses were walking into the bar when Larson approached them holding his chest and saying he was stabbed.
The bartender was able to identify both men based on their credit card information.
Officers arrested Diedrich after matching his driver’s license photo to video surveillance, and a description given by witnesses.
His next court date is set for September 5.
