PETA’S Hell on Wheels Targets Fargo’s Fryn’ Pan Downtown
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) -PETA’S Hell on Wheels Truck stops outside of Fargo’s Fryn’ Pan Family Restaurant.
With the sounds of crying chickens and images of these birds inside a slaughterhouse, PETA wants to show that these animals are not ours to use for food.
With their subliminal message on their truck saying, Does This Bother You? Then Go Vegan, PETA wants to remind people that the industry itself has caused harm to birds and your health.
The truck comes when there has been an outbreak of bird flu across the country. While there have been no cases of the bird flu in birds this year there has been a report in March of it being detected in livestock here in North Dakota.
“PETA likes to remind people that the only kind meal is a vegan one. So they came up with this truck to help people remember that behind every bucket of chicken parts or behind every order of chicken wings, there’s a living breathing individual who wanted to live,” said Sky Morgan, Hell on Wheels driver.
Hell on Wheels will be in the Fargo area until Saturday.
