FARGO, N.D. (KVRR 8PM update) — A man with no permanent address is arrested on two counts of attempted murder after a stabbing in downtown Fargo right after the Pride Parade.
Police have identified the suspect as 35-year-old Michael Hurteau.
Around 3:30 this afternoon, they were called to the corner of Broadway and 4th Avenue North.
They arrived to find several people, who police say were known to each other, had gotten into a physical fight and stabbing.
Two victims have serious, non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital to be treated.
Police say this incident is not believed to be related to the Pride Parade and that the investigation is ongoing.
